- to develop the Colleges strategy for undergraduate and postgraduate student recruitment (SEU / RUK / and overseas);

- to review external trends in demand for UG and PG programmes;

- to receive advice from the International Office and Student Recruitment and Admissions regarding recruitment opportunities and determine which to act on, and how;

- to coordinate student recruitment and conversion activities across the College;

- to determine the Colleges admissions policy, including considering changes to admissions policy for particular programmes of study, within the framework of the Universitys admissions policy arrangements, and taking account of the Colleges success in selecting applicants able to succeed in its programmes;

- to develop the Colleges approach to widening participation;

- to liaise with other relevant College committees (Undergraduate Learning and Teaching, Postgraduate Studies, Planning and Resources) to ensure discussion of recruitment and admissions activities takes account of related matters.
